I am delighted to announce that Connie Jackaman and Virginie Lam have been appointed as members of the inaugural Curtin EMCR Network Steering Committee.
Following a competitive process, with a significant number of applications (over 60), the selection panel chose a committee of 18 from across the University.
When asked how Connie feels about the appointment, she said;
I am delighted to be selected and looking forward to supporting EMCRs, particularly given the challenging times we face”.
The key priorities of the EMCR Network Steering Committee will be to promote networking and advocacy throughout the EMCR community, enable and enhance career development of EMCRs, help foster a strong performance culture for research and ultimately give our EMCR community a voice in relevant decision making and committees.
I feel privileged to represent the CHIRI EMCR network and look forward to serving on the Committee to support the wider University EMCR network, with input to plan and strategize to implement the Network’s broader vision and objectives”- Virginie Lam
Congratulations Connie and Virginie on this outstanding achievement, CHIRI are fortunate to have you both participating on a University committee and you will serve EMCRs exceedingly well.
