Curtin University
Note to staff

9 July, 2008

Senior resignation

I wish to advise that Professor Stephen Martin, Curtin’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor Strategy has resigned from the University. Professor Martin joined Curtin in April this year from Victoria University where he was PVC International.

Professor Martin has resigned due to family reasons which require his presence in the Eastern States. He will leave Curtin at the end of the month.

We are sorry to see Professor Martin leave Curtin after so short a time and we wish him well for the future.

As staff will be aware, we are currently seeking to fill the position of Vice-President Corporate Services. When this position is filled there will be a re-allocation of senior portfolios.

In the interim, Val Raubenheimer will act as Deputy Vice-Chancellor Strategy.
