Suggestion: Yoga Room in the Library

A recent study demonstrated the positive protective impact of physical activity behaviors and exercise on stress tolerance among university students (see Bland, Melton, Bigham, & Welle, 2014).
After getting out of my chair to stretch from a 3-hour study session and feeling silly to stretch in front of everyone, I thought how great it would be to have a dedicated room during the study break and exam weeks with a yoga video playing on loop so that people can take a short 10min break out of their study to exercise.

Thank you for the great suggestion to provide a dedicated break out area for yoga and stretching in the library during exams. The Library understand how important it is to take breaks during long study sessions so we will certainly take this idea into consideration for future planning.
