Curtin PASS groups Table

Two new learning support services have joined the Library – UniPASS and The Learning Centre.

The Learning Centre provides a range of workshops and online programs to help develop your study skills. Particularly popular are the online programs such as Better Essays, Time Management and Better References. Numeracy, Maths, and Statistics workshops have attracted many students, and SPSS and Literature Review sessions are available for research students.

UniPASS offers peer-facilitated group study sessions in a range of challenging units carefully selected by teaching staff. Students regularly attending these sessions for an hour each week achieve higher grades and make great connections with their peers. Students who have attended UniPASS regularly achieve an average grade increase of 15% over those who don’t attend. (The average grade increase was recorded  between 2012 and 2016 with 5 or more sessions attended per semester)
