December 2016 video post: End-of-Year best wishes!

In this month’s edition I take a look at some of the achievements that will carry Curtin University into 2017 and beyond, such as the launch of the 2017-2020 Strategic Plan. I also thank staff for all your great work throughout the year and wish you all the very best for the festive season.

Congratulations Debbie on a fantastic year. You have shown great vision and leadership and we are lucky to have you leading us at Curtin. The accolades in today’s Campus Morning Mail were well deserved. It has been a full on, exhausting but incredibly satisfying year and 2017, with our “50 Years of Innovation” celebrations, promises to be even busier and more exciting. Great to be part of a winning team doing innovative things!

We at School of Built Environment very much appreciate your efforts involving and encouraging staff and students in all levels of Greater Curtin endeavors. Your visit to Interdisciplinary Student Design Competition and “the battered shoe” Place Activation installation profoundly influenced Design Activism component of the project and also brought substantiation to one of the stakeholder engagement tasks.
