Curtin remembers Mark Oliver or “Bills” a well loved CITs and Abacus labs manager who will be greatly missed.

“After a short period of illness Mark “Bills” Oliver passed away on the 25th of April 2017. There are no words to describe what Bills meant to his team. He was not a manager, but a leader, a friend, and a part of a big family. He will be remember by all in different ways, but each will have their own unique moments. We will always remember his cheeky smile, his ability to magically solve any and all problems thrown his way, and his kind nature. He would always help others, no matter the time of day or where he was. Whether he was at work, home, or sitting by the pool in Thailand, he would do whatever he could to help. This single man alone reached so many of our hearts, and those who were lucky enough to know him will have become better for it. He will remain in all of our hearts, and his family here at Curtin University will carry on his legacy, and remember him forever more.

We send our thoughts and love to his wife Nix and his loving family in this time of need. ”

Please leave any messages of how you knew or will miss Mark below.

Bills was the kind of person who would be willing to help anyone, anytime. He was always there for his employees and turned colleagues into friends and family. Throughout the 4 years that I knew him, he brightened our workplace and enriched our lives.
We will all miss Bills greatly.
      xx
