Suggestion: noise

By Curtin Library 21 March 2017 News & events Comments Off on Suggestion: noise

From the suggestion box@Curtin Library…

Hi, I am a research student at Curtin. I found out that these days there are some activities in the library room 6105 at night and the noise has seriously disturbed students in the other rooms near that lab. I suppose that the library should provide a quite and nice environment to students. A notice should be made to all of the student using that room, cause although speaking is allowed in all areas but nobody can make noise in the library and it really become a trouble to other student who have the right to use the school facilities.

The Library responds…

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that your studies were disturbed and I have asked Library staff who are monitoring the floors to be very alert to this room on level six. All Library users who are being disturbed by inconsiderate behaviour are encouraged to approach a Library staff member at the time the problem is occurring so that we can take appropriate action.
