By Curtin Library 5 February 2019 News & events No Comments »

With the commencement of semester one 2019, teaching staff are reminded to arrange access to unit readings through the Library Reading Lists service.

It is a University requirement that the use of copyright materials for teaching purposes are registered in the Reading Lists system.

Teaching staff who already have Reading Lists are advised to check that their Reading Lists are Associated with the correct Blackboard units and that the Reading Lists are Published before the commencement of the new study period.

For information about Reading Lists, please see our Instructional Guide. For information about Copyright, please visit the Copyright at Curtin website.

New in 2019 – Recommending Textbooks to the Library

It is also best practice to use Reading Lists to notify the Library of all essential and recommended unit readings so that the Library can provide students with access to these resources from within the Library’s electronic and physical collections.

New in 2019, academics can now notify the Library of the prescribed textbooks for each unit by using the Prescribed Textbook tag.

Please see Recommending textbooks to the Library for more information.
