Proquest and CSA (Cambridge Scientific Abstracts) databases will move to a new ProQuest platform by April 16.

You can begin to use the new Proquest platform now via the library’s Database A-Z list. This platform provides access to a number of new databases not currently available.

Links to the new versions of individual ProQuest and CSA databases will soon start to appear in the Library Catalogue and the Database A-Z list, with all access migrated to the new platform by April 16. Links to the current versions of ProQuest and CSA will be retained on the Database A-Z list until migration is completed.

To learn how to find, save, organise and share resources you can watch a ProQuest training video.

If you have a My Research account you will be able to move your account across manually after migration. Log in with your existing account details and click the link ‘Import to My Research’ to initiate the migration. Please contact your Faculty Librarian if you need more assistance.

With the new Proquest platform, FindIt links for Science Direct journals are not functioning correctly and links to other fulltext databases are working. In the case of 3 different Science Direct titles, FindIt reported no online source available although a search of the catalogue did lead to each of these titles

Thank you for pointing this out. The Library is working to resolve the problem.
