Curtin University Library was recently delighted to receive donations of three books written by our talented academic staff.
Dr Subas Dhakal from Curtin University’s School of Management recently donated a signed copy of his book Friends of Brixton Street Wetlands to the Library. The book is the result of many years of work and has many lovely photographs taken by Dr Dhakai.
Dr Narrelle Morris from Curtin Law School donated a copy of her book Australia’s War Crime Trials, 1945-51 to the Library. This unique, prize winning volume provides a detailed analysis of Australia’s 300 war crimes trials conducted in the immediate aftermath of World War II.
Associate Professor Julia Richardson from Curtin Business School donated a copy of her book An Intelligent Career: Taking Responsibility for Your Work and Your Life to the Library. The book draws on examples and insights from around the globe and explains how to audit your situation; determine future action; combine assets such as your commitment, experience and relationships; and earn greater career success on your own terms. It provides practical and inspiring guidance on how to take charge of your career. Professor Richardson also delivered a well attended workshop to University staff. Professor Richardson’s book An Intelligent Career can be read online through the Library.
Thanks to Dr Dhakal, Dr Morris and Associate Professor Richardson for their kind and valued donations to the Library collection.
