Minecraft and the library

By Karen Miller 6 November 2013 News Comments Off on Minecraft and the library

I came across this interesting article about how the Mattituck-Laurel Library in Mattituck, NY have created a virtual replica of their library in Minecraft.  They have been engaging young patrons by creating a scavenger hunt within the virtual library, with clues placed inside treasure chests to help locate books and as well as a range of other activities. There are also plans to build other educational activities.

I’m wondering what a Minecraft replica of Curtin library would look like, and what we could do in there.
