Thought you’d missed out on John Curtin Weekend? Well you’re in luck! Some last minute spots have opened up so get in quick!
John Curtin Weekend (JCW) is Curtin Volunteers!’ largest community project. During September and October approximately 500 volunteers, (in groups of up to 20) travel to 40 rural towns and metropolitan sites to work with the locals on their community projects.
There are currently 10-15 spots available on Saturday September 17. This opportunity will run from 8:45am – 4pm with morning tea and lunch provided.
Volunteers will be working with a group of Swan Care Group Volunteers, consisting of Managers, Admin Staff and Bentley Park Residents, to join paint the internal communal areas of Richard Cleaver Lodge. A fresh coat of paint would help to enhance the overall appearance of the hallways and sitting areas.
Volunteers will work together, with a target of painting two allocated floors at Richard Cleaver Lodge. Depending on the number of volunteers, it may be possible to achieve more.
There is no registration fee. You will receive a FREE t shirt, drink holder, pens, note pad, sunscreen, water bottle and many more things in a ‘goody’ bag.
