Sign up to be a buddy today!

The Curtin Volunteers Buddy Program is a perfect opportunity to get to know incoming exchange students, experience different cultures and find new friends at the same time. Curtin has over 90 partner institutes from all around the world, so the aim of the buddy program is to open up a channel of communication between existing Curtin students and incoming exchange students. Buddies will provide their assigned exchange student with assistance and guidance, especially in their first few weeks at Curtin. Let’s face it; the campus and Perth were big and scary for you once too!

It is completely up to you and the student to maintain contact and there are very little demands that will be expected of you as a buddy. The most important aspect of this program is to have fun.

If there is a country or University that you are particularly interested in, we can do our best to pair you up with a student from that place! We strongly encourage students that are thinking about doing a study abroad or travelling to get involved with this program.

See below for a photo of me and my buddy Florian snowboarding in the Alps when I did a study abroad in Austria!

If you have any queries about the program, or want to sign up please contact me on the details below:
