As you may or may not be aware, Cyclo Sportif is planning to relaunch as Bicycle Western Australia (BWA) in 2010. They are currently WAs largest cycling organisation and are working towards maximising our influence with local councils and the government, as well as continuing with our popular events program.
Part of this new direction is to increase our advocacy and community involvement, aimed at getting more people cycling more often.
They are keen to work closely with BUGS in WA to improve cycling conditions.
See www.bwa.org.au. They are running a five dams event in March, 230km’s. Get training now!

Date & Time: Sunday, 27th September. 8am?
Meeting Point(s): Car park just past Ranger station.
Shuttles/Volunteers: Peel MTB club trailer will probably be available, we’ll take turns driving it back down, bring petrol money for the shuttle owner.

Who has a hankering for a nice cruisy day of shuttles at the best place in the world? Then join us down in Dwelli, starting on the Murray Valley side.
How to get there: Drive to Dwellingup. Head southeast away from the town centre for ~2km, then turn right onto Nanga rd. Follow this until you see the park entrance on the left. Meet in the car park at the entrance at this stage.
Unfortunately my website was hacked over the weekend & Google is still blocking it so anyone using Firefox or Chrome will get a warning page when trying to access it. If you are on Facebook you can sign up to the Huck to Flat group & register your interest so we know to wait for you.

The New Perth Bunbury Highway Bike Ride is a unique opportunity to be in the centre of the action on a significant day in Western Australian history – the opening of the New Perth Bunbury Highway. Cyclo Sportif Club of Australia Inc. and the Southern Gateway Alliance are joining forces to offer the WA community the chance to ride a bike along the full length of the freeway extension, starting at the Safety Bay Road Interchange, and finishing at the Pinjarra Road Interchange. This is your ONLY chance to ride the best piece of road in Western Australia before it goes live to traffic.
This is a FREE EVENT, but you must register prior to closing date of Saturday 19th September at 5pm. For more details and to register, please follow the link below:
